New coaching staff and signings at Rylands
Warrington Rylands have confirmed that Mark Duffy has been appointed as their manager, alongside the signings of Dylan Dwyer and Ntumba Massanka.
Duffy, 38, took over the reins of the Blues on an interim basis alongside Dean Furman at the end of the 2023/24 season and has now agreed to become their permanent manager.
The former Birmingham City and Sheffield United midfielder took his first step into management last season with Macclesfield, before parting ways with the Silkmen to join the Warrington-based outfit as a player, going on to make nine appearances.
Phil Jevons will join him as an assistant coach, while Dean Baker becomes the goalkeeping coach.
He will now look to build upon last season's successful campaign which begins with the signings of Dyland Dwyer and Ntumba Massanka.
Dwyer, 20, is a left-back who came through the ranks at Wigan Athletic before moving to the youth setups at Fleetwood Town and Tranmere Rovers.
Massanka, 27, is well-versed at Step 3 from his time at South Shields, Stalybridge Celtic, Stafford Rangers and Macclesfield.
The former Manchester United and Manchester City youngster will look to fill the void left behind by Mo Touray, who was the Blues' leading goalscorer last season with 18 goals in 41 appearances.
Rylands have also offered youth player Ben Taylor a permanent contract, becoming the first academy player to graduate into the first team.
