Duo join Anstey Nomads
Anstey Nomads have confirmed the signings of Keaton August and Billy Mycroft-Edwards ahead of the 2023/24 season.
August, 23, joins the Nomads from Combined Counties League side Ascot United.
The Cape Town-born forward won the FA Vase at Wembley last season.
He has also featured for the likes of Aylesbury United, Windsor FC, Slough Town and Chalfont St Peter, after playing his football in Australia for Brisbane Striker prior to his move to the UK.
On his move to Anstey Nomads, August said: "I'm looking forward to this season to help the team improve on what they did last year and get back-to-back promotions.
"Personally, I want to score as many goals as I can and provide as many assists as I can to help the team be successful.
"It's been a great pre-season so far and the lads have been really welcoming, it's a great group to be a part of."
Also joining the newly promoted side is Billy Mycroft- Edwards.
The 22-year-old midfielder has featured for Loughborough Students, Enfield and Bishop's Stortford.
He is delighted to be signing for the Nomads after playing against the team in previous years.
"After playing against the Nomads the last two seasons, I saw how competitive and driven the lads are," Mycroft-Edwards said.
"I'm looking forward to joining an ambitious team who are hard-working and have quality players.
"This season, I'm confident the team can get promoted and want to bring my competitive nature to become a part of that push."
