Young duo arrive at Clitheroe
Clitheroe have confirmed the arrivals of midfielder Connor High and defender Charlie Hayes-Green to Shawbridge.
19-year-old Hayes-Green signs on an initial 28-day loan from League 1 side Bolton Wanderers.
Prior to moving to the Toughsheet Community Stadium in July 2023, the centre-back, who can operate at full-back, spent time in Liverpool’s academy, and made 16 U18 Premier League appearances.
Hayes-Green made his debut as a trialist in the Blues’ 3-1 win over Workington in their final pre-season friendly on August 3.
Arriving on a permanent deal is 18-year-old Connor High.
The dynamic midfielder joins his hometown club after spending the last two seasons at Accrington Stanley.
Both will be available for their competitive debuts on August 10 as Clitheroe welcomes Chasetown to Shawbridge to open the season.
