Whitby Town retain Priestley Griffiths
Whitby Town have announced defender and midfielder Priestley Griffiths will stay at the club for the 2023-24 season.
The club have announced they have activated the option for an extra year on his contract.
The 26-year-old joined the club ahead of the 2021-22 season from National League North side Blyth Spartans. He has since made 76 appearances for the club over that time.
He played his academy days at Middlesbrough, before then moving on to Spennymoor Town and Bishop Auckland. He then spent two years in Iceland with IBV, before returning to this country with Marske United and then Blyth.
This season, he made 33 appearances for the Seasiders, picking up six yellow cards during that time.
