Whitby Town add promising defender Williams on loan
Whitby Town have announced the arrival of highly-rated defender Kasper Williams on a month-long loan from League Two side Doncaster Rovers.
Williams signed his first professional contract in October, penning a two-year deal with his parent club which will come into effect upon the completion of his scholarship this summer.
Earlier this season, the 17-year-old made his professional debut in the Vertu Trophy, making two appearances in the competition, including a start against Manchester United’s U21s.
Williams made his Seasiders debut over the weekend, helping them to a 2-0 win at Bamber Bridge.
That was their second consecutive win on the road, the three points helping Gary Liddle's side climb into the Northern Premier League's top 10.
