Two new faces at Bridlington Town
Bridlington Town have announced the signings of Alex Peterson and Tom Allan.
Peterson, 30, joins the club after a brief spell with Hallam FC.
The experienced striker began his career at Doncaster Rovers and spent at Barnet and Scarborough Athletic during his time at the club.
In 2015, he made the permanent move to The Seadogs, and after two seasons, joined Ossett Town.
Since then, Peterson has plied his trade in the Northern Premier League for the likes of Belper Town, Sheffield FC and, more recently, Ossett United, where he made 60 appearances and scored 18 goals.
Joining him at the Mounting Systems Stadium is defender Tom Allan.
The 30-year-old centre-back joins from Farsley Celtic, where he became an ever-present figure over four spells at the club.
A York City Academy graduate, he enjoyed loan spells at Harrogate Town, Gateshead and Alfreton Town prior to a temporary spell at the Citadel which became permanent in 2020.
Allan made the move back to Alfreton Town in July 2021, but returned to the Leeds-based side in October.
Both players featured in Bridlington Town's 3-2 defeat away at Ashington last Saturday in the NPL.
