Trio through the door at Chasetown

Chasetown have bolstered their squad options ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 NPL season.

Levi Rowley joins the club after featuring during their pre-season campaign.

The 26-year-old forward has previously featured for the likes of Walsall, Stafford Rangers, Stourbridge and Rushall Olympic.

On the signing, Chasetown manager Mark Swann said: "I have been in contact with Levi for a season or so now. It is criminal that a player of his ability wasn’t playing.

"He’s worked really hard in pre-season and has settled in straight away with the lads. I believe this is a great signing for the football club and we are chuffed to have him on board."

Joining him at the Scholars Ground is midfielder Ryan Inman.

Inman, 26, was most recently plying his trade at Southern Football League side Stratford.

He has also spent time in the US where he combined his studies and game time with High Point University.

"Ryan came in at the start of the pre-season and has done really well," Mark Swann said.

"He is a very fit boy and is comfortable playing in a number of positions. He is a great lad too and has fitted in effortlessly around the other players."

Chasetown have also confirmed that forward Kyle Montague will join the club for next season.

Montague has previously featured for the likes of Midland Football League sides Shifnal and Dudley Town.

Manager Mark Swann hopes that Montague can utilise his imposing presence at the top of the pitch for next season.

"Kyle is someone we invited in for pre-season. He is a big tall guy and he has always scored goals wherever he has been. He scored against us in a pre-season game last year in fact," he said.
