Trio of new signings for Ossett United

Ossett United have announced the signings of Moses Yoak, Abdul Kadiri and Lewis Richardson.

28-year-old midfielder Yoak arrives with a wealth of Step 4 experience.

His incredible 12 goal and 11 assist season for Longridge during the 2021/22 NWCFL Premier Division earned him a move to Stalybridge.

Since then, he has played for Glossop North End and most recently Bootle.

On signing Yoak, manager Dave Wild said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have Moses join us for the season.

“I’m glad he’s committed to play for Ossett United. He’s settled in really well, and I know his performances will only improve in the coming weeks.”

Also through the door at Ingfield is midfielder Kadiri.

Kadiri has featured in a number of pre-season friendlies already for Ossett, and has also previously played under Wild before during their time at Mossley.

Last season, Kadiri returned from a long break from the game and lined up for the club’s close neighbours Horbury Town in the NECL Division 1.

Another of their recent signings sees Richardson confirmed for the upcoming season.

He, too, has featured multiple times for Ossett during pre-season and has now been added to the Ramicorns squad on a permanent basis ahead of their league opener against Ashington Town on August 10.
