Trio added to Royals squad
Sutton Coldfield Town have made three further signings as they prepare for their return to the BetVictor Northern Premier League.
Midfielder Joe Halsall arrives from Coleshill Town, wide player Romario Rose from Northfield Town and youngster Joel Powney steps up from the Under 18s.
Boss Neil Tooth said: “Joe is a great addition and one that I didn’t expect to be making at this stage but as soon as he became available it was a no brainer. Joe is a leader and a combative midfielder who was captain at Coleshill so it’s a real coup for us to get him.
“Romario has impressed massively in pre season with some impressive performances and he is an exciting wide player with a bag full of tricks.
“Joel Powney has made the step up from our under 18s and has shown with his performances in pre season that he is more than capable of holding his own. Joel is a creative midfielder with great set piece delivery and another that we expect to push on and play higher.”
