Talented youngster returns to Grantham Town
Grantham Town have confirmed the signing of midfielder Sam Edgington from League Two side Notts County.
Edgington came through the youth system at the South Kesteven Sports Stadium before joining Notts County.
He was released by them at the end of his current contract after four seasons at the club.
The 18-year-old was eager to return to his former side, saying: “I was keen to get back to the club especially to work with Louis and Dan.”
Grantham’s manager Louis Bland shared in his new signings’ excitement at his arrival.
“Sam is another signing we’re so happy about. Dan and I have both coached him at different points of his development so we both know his qualities.
“He can add something different to our already good midfield group and we’re looking forward to developing him further.”
