Talented winger makes AFC Rushden & Diamonds move

AFC Rushden & Diamonds have announced the signing of Dominik Wysocki from United Counties League side Daventry Town.

Wysocki, 19, began his career with Harborough Town as a 16-year-old, before moving on to Spalding United.

During this time, the Polish-born winger earned a call-up to join the England Colleges FA National team.

He continued to build his experience of senior football at a young age through stints at Melton Town and Cogenhoe United, and secured a move to Daventry Town in 2024 after attracting interest from numerous clubs.

Wysocki is no stranger to AFC Rushden & Diamonds and manager Michael Harriman, featuring for the club in a pre-season fixture against Peterborough United U23s last season, before coming up against his new side for Daventry in a friendly ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

He will go straight into contention to make his debut for the Diamonds in Saturday's fixture away at Grantham Town in the NPL Midlands Division.
