Sutton Coldfield Town announce first three signings

Sutton Coldfield Town have announced their first three signings of the new campaign.

Jack Burgess, Vinnie Dwyer and Dalmar Morrison have all signed for the Pitching In Northern Premier League 2021/22 season.

Burgess, a midfielder, joins after a number of impressive displays against the Royals in recent games.

Dwyer returns and joins from West Bromwich Albion.

Morrison is the latest member from the club's Under-21s to join the first-team.

Manager Neil Tooth said: "Jack is a player with great ability who has been doing really well for Boldmere and I have no doubt that without the lockdown and football being stopped, he would have been playing at this level already. His quality will be there for all to see and I'm really looking forward to working with him."

Tooth continued: "Getting Vinnie in on a permanent deal is great news for us as he had a number of opportunities to go and play higher but he loved his time here with us when we had him on loan. He knows he can trust us and we have a good track record of working with lads who have been released. I have no doubt at all that regular game time with us will enable Vinnie to get back into full-time football very soon."

On Morrison, the manager added, "Dalmar is everything you want in a young player. He has made the step up look easy and has really impressed us with his ability and his attitude to learning. He has all the attributes to go really far and we are all really excited to see his progression. Our youth pathway has been very good to us over the years but in Dalmar I think we have unearthed an absolute gem."
