Stoke City youngster joins Wythenshawe Town on loan

The 19-year-old, who has represented the Republic of Ireland at youth level, will head to Erikstan Park until mid-January.

Grogan made consecutive starts for the Potters’ Under 21s in the Premier League 2, prior to his loan move being sanctioned.

He was immediately thrust into the action, making his debut for Wythenshawe during Tuesday night’s 2-0 win at Stafford Rangers.

He played the full game, with victory enough to see Rory Fallon’s side climb out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
