Stocksbridge secure Elliot Owen signing
Stocksbridge Park Steels have announced that versatile defender Elliot Owen has joined the club ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Owen came through the youth ranks at York City before signing permanently with Pontefract Collieries last season.
There, he made 31 appearances and scored twice, helping Colls to a play-off place in the NPL East Division.
He arrives to bolster an already impressive Stocksbridge defence which conceded just 48 goals last season - the fewest of any team in the bottom half of the division.
