Stalybridge loan move for National League youngster
Stalybridge Celtic have announced the signing of Lewis Rawsthorn from Radcliffe on a three-month loan deal.
Rawsthorn, 21, joined Boro at the end of the 2023/24 campaign from NWCFL side Atherton Laburnum Rovers where he scored 31 goals prior to his move.
He netted on his debut for Radcliffe in a 3-2 defeat against Gainsborough Trinity on the final day of the season.
After a brief spell at FC United of Manchester earlier in the season, the young striker was most recently on loan at Michael Clegg's Atherton Collieries side, where he featured 10 times and scored once.
Rawsthorn joined Stalybridge Celtic prior to their 4-3 victory against Hednesford Town on Tuesday, and was selected in the starting line-up by Jon Macken.
