Stalybridge bolster backline with Stockport County defender
Stalybridge Celtic have announced the signing of Taylor McMahon on a short-term loan deal from Stockport County.
McMahon, 19, joined the Hatters last summer from Championship side Stoke City, as part of the club's Emerging Talents group.
He has featured once for Stockport in their 3-1 victory over Salford in the Football League Trophy in October.
The young defender has also played 10 times for Stafford Rangers prior to his move to Bower Fold and will now look to further develop his experience under the tutelage of James Kinsey.
On his new acquisition, Kinsey said: "Taylor is somebody I know of through my role at Stockport.
“He’s technically very good on the ball and has real potential to push on in the game. He was really keen to come and get playing, and for us that was huge.
With Jack Tinning out for a number of weeks, it was important we moved quickly to get the right player in and we’re sure Taylor is the right fit for us."
