Stafford retain services of Nathan Blissett
Stafford Rangers have announced striker Nathan Blissett has signed a new deal for the 2023-24 season.
The 32-year-old, who is the nephew of former Watford and England striker Luther, joined the club from National League North side Telford United back in February. He scored two goals, both coming in a thrilling 3-3 draw at Liversedge.
He would go on to play an important role for Matt Hill’s men, as they went on to finish 12th in the Premier Division.
“I’m very happy,” he said.
“I’ve been in conversation with a few clubs over the off-season just to see what’s on offer, but nothing could really work as well as what Stafford have offered me.
“With the season and how it finished I feel like we had a really strong team and what the manager’s looking to do moving forward sits right with what I want to do next season.”
