Spalding sign Corby pair
Spalding United have confirmed the signings of James Clifton and Elliot Sandy from Corby Town.
Ex-Boston United defensive midfielder Clifton previously had spells at Nuneaton, Alfreton and Basford.
Sandy, who held the captain’s armband at Corby last season, also brings a wealth of experience having enjoyed spells at Banbury, Rushden and Diamonds, Kettering and Brackley during his career.
Manager Brett Whaley said: “I’m delighted to have both players onboard, their experience is much needed and invaluable for us and they will bring a winning mentality and attitude to the squad from the off. This represents a great start to our summer signings.”
