Silsden secure Portuguese midfielder Rodrigues

The 25-year-old Lisbon native brings a wealth of experience to the Regal Interiors Stadium, having previously featured for the likes of Avro and Emley at Step 4.

Rodrigues also played for Newcastle United at youth level and a number of clubs in Germany.

He becomes the latest new arrival at the Cobbydalers, with moves already completed for Jakub Hebda, Hamza Hamdosh and Will Morrissey. 

Manager Matt Cavanagh said: “Bels is a great addition to the club and he’s someone I’ve wanted to bring in for a while.
