Runcorn Linnets welcome former Crewe man Washington
Runcorn Linnets have announced the signing of former Crewe Alexandra youth product Harvey Washington.
The 19-year-old centre-back represented Crewe Alexandra at U16s, U18s and U21s level. He spent last season at Kidsgrove Athletic, where he made 26 appearances.
Washington made a flying start to life at the Autonet Stadium, winning their Supporters’ Player of the Month award in his first few weeks at the club.
Linnets manager Antony Kay was clear in his admiration for the young defender, saying: “We are delighted to sign him. Harvey is tall, agile and is very good on the ball.”
