Radcliffe centre-back signs new contract
Radcliffe have confirmed that defender Olly Thornley has penned a new two-year deal with the club.
Thornley, 25, joined Boro in 2020 from Curzon Ashton and has since made 123 appearances and scored nine goals.
The centre-back has quickly become a fan favourite at the Neuven Stadium, forming a formidable partnership with Rick Smith, keeping 10 clean sheets so far for the league leaders.
His new deal with the club will take him until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Speaking about his contract extension, Thornley said: "I’m really happy to sign on for another two seasons at the club.
"I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far, I love the club and everyone involved.
"This season has been incredible so far. We now need to focus on finishing off strong and give the fans what we deserve, and that’s winning the league."
