Quorn sign ex-Basford United defender
Quorn have confirmed the signing of defender Mason Frizelle.
Frizelle recently departed NPL East Division outfit Belper Town, where he played the final seven games of the 2023/24 season.
Prior to this, the 6’3 centre-back was a mainstay of Northern Premier League side Basford United, making 24 appearances for the Lions and scoring once.
The new signing is determined to help his new side improve on their play-off finish last time around.
“Last season was an impressive accomplishment. Hopefully we’ll be in and around the play-offs again this season, and perhaps go one better,” he said.
The Reds kick off their pre-season campaign with a home game at Farley Way against Nuneaton Town.
