Quartet join Hinckley ahead of new season
Hinckley have bolstered their squad, with four new faces joining ahead of the upcoming season.
Tendai Daire, Aaron Nuttall and Louis Samuels have linked up with the club from United Counties League side Aylestone Park, whilst Spencer Edwards has signed from Pitching In NPL Midlands Division rivals Harborough Town.
The quartet featured in all four of the club's pre-season matches, and manager Neil Lyne has now registered the players successfully ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Daire, 27, has proven himself as a number nine at non-league level.
He scored 22 goals in 22 appearances for Alyestone Park and previously found the back of the net for Harborough against Hinckley in October 2022 during a brief spell at the club.
Nuttall, meanwhile scored 20 goals in 42 appearances for his former club.
The teenager, who operates primarily on the left, will add some flair to the club's attacking options.
Samuels was also prolific in front of goal for Alyestone Park, with the 27-year-old finding the back of the net 39 times in 40 games.
Their final new recruit, Edwards, made 28 appearances for Harborough last season as they finished eighth in the NPL Midlands Division in 2022/23.
He also provides versatility in defence, given his ability to play at left-back or centre-half.
All four players could make their competitive debut against Bugbrooke St Michaels in the FA Cup extra preliminary round this weekend.
