Purps bring in Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper
City of Liverpool have brought in goalkeeper Adam Khan from Championship side Blackburn Rovers on a 28-day loan.
The young shot-stopper will provide cover for Nick Michalski, who is currently on international duty with England's Under 18s.
Khan originally joined Rovers from Premier League side Crystal Palace and signed his first professional contract at Ewood Park in the summer of 2024.
He earned his first international call-up for Pakistan in May 2024 and joins young Hungarian midfielder Patrik Farkas as a fellow Rovers alumni on loan at the Purps.
Farkas has already featured five time for a club which currently finds itself second-bottom of the NPL West Division, seven points from safety.
The Purps recently parted company with Paul McNally after more than two years in charge, with his successor - former Prescot Cables boss Kevin Lynch - losing his first game in charge at the weekend.
They travel to Mossley on Tuesday evening.
