Prescot Cables sign Fiji international Wara
Prescot Cables continue to fill out their squad ahead of the new season with the addition of Fijian centre back Scott Wara.
This marks the second central defender through the door at Valerie Park this week, after Nelson Digbeu arrived from Skelmersdale United.
Wara last played for NPL West side Stalybridge Celtic, where he made 18 appearances last season.
The 24-year-old also made 71 appearances in two seasons for Leek Town following his departure from Stoke City’s academy.
The new Cables defender has five international caps for Fiji, and represented his country at the OFC Nations Cup this summer, where his side reached the semi-final.
