Potts picks up new Clitheroe Contract
Clitheroe have confirmed that striker Louis Potts has signed a new one-year deal, with the option of a year’s extension in the club’s favour.
The 22-year-old has found his home at Shawbridge, after spending the early parts of last season with Ashton United and Avro.
Across all three teams, Potts made 36 appearances last season, scoring eight goals.
His best return came for the Blues, scoring three times in seven appearances, including a final-day goal in their 3-1 win over NPL West champions Leek Town.
Manager Jimmy Bell expressed his delight at securing Potts for another season, stating: “I can’t believe this lad is only playing at this level, he’s got everything I like in a centre forward.”
