Portugal-born forward joins Stocksbridge Park Steels
Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Miguel Valsau from Guiseley.
The 20-year-old forward was born in Portugal and played for Valadares Gaia, as well as being part of FC Porto’s football school.
After living in the Netherlands for a year, Valsau moved to England.
He was spotted by Guiseley during UK Football Trials and signed for the Lions' academy in 2019. Alongside this, he also featured for Sheffield United's development squad.
As well as amassing some first team minutes, Valsau was also dual-registered with Northern Counties East League side Albion Sports last season.
He has yet to feature for Guiseley's first team this season so has opted to make the move to Bracken Moor, joining a Steels side currently occupying the final play-off spot in the NPL East Division.
His new club are back in league action on Saturday, against another of the division's early high-flyers in Belper Town.
