Pond makes a splash with Chasetown return
Chasetown have announced the signing of goalkeeper Curtis Pond from Hereford.
The 28-year-old shot-stopper departed the Scholars Ground after a decade at the club last year to link up with the Bulls.
Pond helped Hereford to an 11th-place finish in the National League North and will now return to his old stomping ground ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Speaking about his homecoming, Chasetown manager Mark Swann said: "As soon as we knew that Pondy wouldn’t be staying at Hereford we were keen to talk to him.
"He made it clear that we were his preferred club and I am happy that we have managed to secure his services once again.
"Not only is he a top goalkeeper but he is also a big character within the dressing room."
