Ossett United sign new winger
Ossett United have announced the arrival of winger Rhys Platter from Armthorpe Welfare.
Based in Doncaster, the Welfare play their football in the NCEL.
He featured heavily for the club last season as they finished eighth in the division - their highest league position for a number of years.
Platter will now link up with a Sheepicorns side still searching for their first point of the new Pitching In NPL East Division season, following back-to-back defeats to Sheffield and Dunston.
He could be in contention to make his debut against Wythenshawe in the FA Cup preliminary round on Saturday.
