New striker bolsters Matlock Town ranks

Matlock Town have signed striker Remaye Campbell from Kettering Town for an undisclosed fee.

He becomes the Gladiators' second signing of the day, following the arrival of Montel Gibson on a permanent basis from National League North side Hereford.
Campbell, 24, came through the ranks at Notts County, making his way to the first team where he made three appearances.
Moves to Grantham Town and Ilkeston Town followed, with the talented frontman scoring 30 goals for the Robins.
He took his goalscoring form to Basford United, finding the back of the net 11 times in the Northern Premier League last season before earning a move to Southern League Central side Kettering over the summer.
It is hoped the arrival of Gibson and Campbell will enable Matlock to kick on after a difficult start to the new campaign.
The Gladiators remain without a win in the league and have scored just three times in their opening seven games.
In a statement released on the club's website, Matlock have confirmed that a new manager is also expected to be in place before Saturday's home game against Workington.

The club will also host Gainsborough Trinity on Tuesday night.
