New signing Djalo nets on debut
Dunston have signed striker Sado Djalo from Bedlington Terriers.
Djalo, 29, marked his debut with a goal in the 6-0 win over Frickley Athletic at the weekend.
He caught the eye of manager Chris Swailes and assistant Jon McDonald following an impressive goalscoring start to the season in the Northern League for Bedlington, scoring 12 league goals in as many games.
Swailes said: "Jon and I have been to watch Sado a number of times already this season and he has really impressed us.
"He's a big, strong ‘target man’ and he has a really good work rate with a lot of pace. He’s also been scoring a good amount of goals for Bedlington which is something we’ve been lacking this season."
