New midfielder for Marine
Marine have snapped up young midfielder Harvey Gregson following his departure from Atherton Collieries.
The 20-year-old mainly operates in central midfield and joins following spells with the likes of AFC Fylde, Redditch United and Bamber Bridge, prior to his time at Colls.
Gregson has experience playing at National League North Level with Fylde, and has also featured in the FA Youth Cup for the Coasters.
He only linked up with Colls over the summer and made a total of 18 appearances for them in all competitions this season.
On joining the Mariners, he said: “I’m really excited to have joined Marine, a club with huge potential and great fans.
“I’m really looking forward to Saturday and the rest of the season.”
Gregson is eligible to feature on Saturday as his new club welcomes fellow Northern Premier League side Ilkeston Town to the Marine Travel Arena.
