New goalkeeper arrives at Marine
Marine have signed Stockport County goalkeeper Bobby Jones on loan until the end of the season.
The former Republic of Ireland youth international came through the youth systems of both Middlesborough and Wigan Athletic.
Jones joined Stockport in 2022 following a stint with AFC Fylde, where he made 16 appearances in the National League North.
Earlier this season, the 22-year-old spent time on loan at National League North side Brackley Town, making three appearances for the Saints.
Jones' final outing came in a 1-0 victory over fierce rivals Banbury United on Boxing Day.
His arrival at the Northern Premier League promotion-chasers comes following the departure of fellow shot-stopper Luke Hutchinson, who was recalled by parent club Bolton Wanderers last week.
Jones kept a clean sheet on debut for Marine on Saturday as they swept aside Bradford Park Avenue 4-0 to move second in the table.
