New arrival at Carlton Town
Carlton Town have announced the signing of David Adegbola.
The talented right-sided player was a stand-out performer for United Counties League side Radford FC last season.
Now he will make the step-up to the Pitching In NPL East Division and link up with a Millers side looking to improve on their 17th-placed finish last season.
That league position would normally mean a relegation play-off, but the club were given a reprieve after unsuccessful ground grading appeals by North Shields and Skelmersdale United, who were demoted to Step 5 instead.
Manager Tommy Brookbanks said: “He is a young right-sided player with lots of pace.
"I had him watched a few times at Radford last season and he really impressed us."
