Mwiya Malumo makes Linnets move
Runcorn Linnets have announced the signing of striker Mwiya Malumo from Atherton Collieries.
The 23-year-old forward joined the Colls in the summer after departing National League North side Farsley Celtic.
He went on to make 12 appearances for David Chadwick’s side.
A UK and Zambia dual-national, Malumo began his career in the youth system at Wigan Athletic, before joining Irlam.
During the 2022/23 season, he joined Nantwich Town where he made 20 appearances, scoring four goals.
Prior to his time at the Dabbers, he has also featured for the likes of Radcliffe, Ramsbottom United, FC United of Manchester, and Skelmersdale United.
The striker made his debut for Runcorn Linnets in their recent midweek 3-1 defeat against his former club Nantwich Town.
