Mossley defender makes National League move
Mossley have confirmed that defender Freddie Sass has left the club to join National League North side Southport.
The 21-year-old first moved to the club from Tadcaster Albion in December 2021 and quickly made the left-back spot his own.
Sass went on to make 41 appearances in a Lilywhites shirt, scoring three goals.
On the move, manager David Fish said: “Freddie has everything you need to become successful in the game; he’s a good size, athletic, talented and has a great attitude.
“Since joining us, he’s been focussed on developing, constantly seeks feedback and often stays after training to work on things.
“He’s been a pleasure to manage and I truly believe this to be the next step on his journey to becoming a professional footballer. I wish him nothing but the best, and he’ll be welcome back at Seel Park anytime.”
