Midfielder makes Carlton Town return
Ilkeston Town midfielder Alex Troke has joined Carlton Town for a second spell.
The former Notts County youngster helped the Millers to Nottinghamshire Senior Cup wins in the 2013/14 and 2016/17 seasons.
He went off to have fantastic success with both Coalville Town and Ilkeston Town, but after a spell on the sidelines at Ilkeston following injury, he has decided to return to his former club as they fight to avoid relegation from the Pitching In NPL East Division.
Manager Tommy Brookbanks said: “He has taken a substantial reduction in wages to come back, because he has a special place in his heart for the club given his previous happy times here.
“I would like to thank Ilkeston Town owner Andy Nally for his dealings with me to allow this to happen as Alex was on contract and of course Alex himself.”
He could feature on Tuesday night as the Millers visit Hebburn Town.
