Matlock welcome French striker

The 26-year-old began his career at Ligue 2 side Red Star FC and rose through the ranks to feature for their U19s squad.

In January 2022, he moved to the UK to link up with Tamworth, but departed in July to pursue an opportunity elsewhere.

Following brief spells in Colombia with América de Cali, and then in Tunisia with EO Sidi Bouzid, Tahra joined Italian side ASD Spoltore Calcio, but returned to England in October to sign for Hereford in the National League North.

Most recently, the Paris-born striker has been plying his trade at Montrouge FC 92, but will now make the journey back over the English Channel once more to join Ryan Cresswell's Gladiators side.

Tahra will go into contention to make his debut for Matlock Town in their Northern Premier League fixture at home to Mickleover on Saturday.
