Matlock Town sign goalkeeper on dual-registration

Wright reunites with recently-appointed Gladiators boss Ryan Cresswell, who signed the 27-year-old over the summer while he was in charge of Sheffield.

He went on to make 14 appearances in all competitions for the club, keeping one clean sheet.

Based in Matlock, shot-stopper Wright has featured for numerous clubs across the area, including Chesterfield, Buxton and Belper Town.

He goes straight into contention to feature against Basford United on Saturday, with the Gladiators looking to climb out of the Northern Premier League's bottom four with a win.
