Matlock move for attacker James Morris
Matlock Town have signed former Seattle University Redhawks striker James Morris.
The 24-year-old began his career in Doncaster, where he made two EFL Trophy appearances for his hometown club.
From there, he crossed the Atlantic to attend university in Seattle in 2019.
He played 12 times for Seattle University Redhawks, scored eight times and captained the side.
Morris has already featured for the Gladiators as a trialist during recent pre-season friendlies and has now signed a permanent deal with Nicky Law’s side.
Matlock continue their pre-season schedule on July 30 with a home game against NPL East Division side Cleethorpes Town.
