Mason Fawns returns to Mossley
Mossley have announced the return of striker Mason Fawns.
Fawns moved to fellow NPL West Division side Bootle from the Lilywhites before the start of the 2023/24 season, and ended the campaign with Kidsgrove Athletic.
He made 31 appearances and scored five times across both clubs.
During his first spell at Mossley, Fawns finished the 2022/23 season as their top goalscorer with 18 in all competitions - eight more than his nearest team-mate. He also earned the division’s Young Player of the Year award.
Manager David Fish expressed his delight at re-signing the talented frontman, saying: “I’m ecstatic that he’s coming home.
“I didn’t want him to leave 13 months ago. He brings quality, will create chances and score goals. He now has a chance to really establish himself as a Mossley legend.”
