Macclesfield winger handed National League North opportunity

Maieco has joined National League North side Warrington Town on dual-registration and made his debut for the Yellows during their 2-0 defeat at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.

Maieco has struggled for game time at the Northern Premier League leaders this season, making just 14 appearances in all competitions since returning to the club over the summer.

He has scored four times, the most recent of which came against Witton Albion in the early rounds of the FA Cup back in late-September.

The 27-year-old ended last season strongly, scoring six goals during a brief stint at Bradford (Park Avenue).
