Macclesfield promoted to National League North as Quorn jump to Step 3 | NPL round-up | Saturday 22 March

Macclesfield's promotion to the National League North was confirmed on Saturday as they came from behind to defeat Bamber Bridge 2-1 at a packed Leasing.com Stadium.
In front of nearly 5,000 fans, the Silkmen were far from their free-flowing best but showed their powers of recovery to clinch the title with six games remaining.
Trailing to Michael Potts' 38th-minute opener, the hosts hit back on the hour mark through Laurent Mendy before top scorer Danny Elliott completed the turnaround eight minutes later, scoring his 29th league goal of the season.
Robbie Savage's side remain 20 points clear of second-placed Worksop Town with 18 still up for grabs.
Quorn also make it a Non League Day to remember as they sealed the Midland Division title after a 3-0 win against Wellingborough Town partnered with Corby Town's draw against Coleshill Town meaning they become unassailable at the summit of the league, who will be looking to their debut season at Step 3 next season
Like the champions of the Premier Division, Worksop enjoyed their afternoon in the north-west, scoring three goals without reply at Warrington Rylands.
Liam Hughes was on target twice for the Tigers in the first half as they recorded an eighth successive win, denting Warrington Rylands' play-off hopes in the process.
Neil Reynolds' Blues remain nine points off the pace, having suffered defeat for the first time since a 3-1 loss against Macclesfield in mid-February.
John Lufudu's goal midway through the first half was enough to see Guiseley past Hebburn Town, who end the weekend in the bottom half, and 1-0 was also the scoreline at Stockton Town as they picked up a crucial three points at home to sixth-placed Ilkeston Town.
The only goal came shortly before the hour mark, Kevin Hayes firing home from the angle to earn his side a fourth win in five, and one which strengthens their chances of finishing in the play-offs.
Out of the teams who started the weekend in the top five, only Ashton United failed to win.
The Robins fell to a 3-1 defeat on their travels at Leek Town as an Alex Hurst hat-trick fires the resurgent Blues to a third win in four, having trailed to Darius Osei's 10th-minute opener.
Elsewhere, Morpeth Town missed the chance to close the gap to the top five after a goalless draw at Lancaster City.
And Gainsborough Trinity were another of the top-half sides to drop points, the Holy Blues beaten 1-0 at home by FC United of Manchester.
Dec McLoughlin scored the only goal of the game 11 minutes into the second half, helping FC United to their third successive 1-0 win on the road.
Prescot Cables extended their only recent purple patch after coming from behind to win 2-1 at Hyde United.
Ben Elliott cancelled out Brad Holmes' early effort for Hyde, before Francis Smith scored a stunning winner 14 minutes from time for Cables, who picked up their first come-from-behind win away from home in more than a year.
Further down the division, there were wins for three of the bottom four to breathe fresh life into the fight for survival.
Mickleover edged a seven-goal thriller at home to Whitby Town to move to within nine points of safety, while substitute Brad Gascoigne scored a 94th-minute winner as Basford United left it late to come from behind and beat Workington 2-1.
Matlock Town got the Adam Clayton era up and running with a 2-0 win at home to already-relegated Blyth Spartans, with Montel Gibson scoring on the stroke of half-time before doubling his tally from the penalty spot two minutes from time.
