Lincoln appoint Housham as manager
Lincoln United have appointed former Gainsborough and North Ferriby boss Steve Housham as their new manager.
Housham, 43, enjoyed a long playing career with Scunthorpe United in the Football League and his first managerial role was with Brigg Town.
A club statement said: “He has a huge range of contacts up and down the football pyramid and he fits the bill in what the Whites are looking for including working within a budget, producing young talent, and putting a team together that will compete and prove successful.
“Steve will start officially as soon as he has resolved his current football commitments and until then Sean Wright will continue as caretaker manager ably assisted by Michael Jacklin.”
Lincoln are currently 13th in the EVO-STIK League East Division.
