Despite his age, the former Preston North End youngster is well versed at Step 3 and 4, gaining valuable experience from his time at the likes of Workington, Glossop North End, Avro, Mossley and Ashton United.

Potts will go into contention to make his debut for Leek Town in their next fixture at home to Hyde United on Saturday in the Northern Premier League.
