Lancaster City welcome home ex-Bury forward
Lancaster City have announced the return of striker Tom Kilifin following his departure from Bury.
Kilifin has made over 250 appearances for the Dolly Blues throughout his career, scoring 75 goals.
His last spell at the Giant Axe came in the 2021/22 season. He scored four goals that season - including the winner in their FA Cup first qualifying round clash with 1874 Northwich.
Kilifin subsequently joined Kendal Town, where he scored 33 goals in 44 games for the Mintcakes.
His return to the Dolly Blues comes as the club seeks to eradicate its misfortunes in front of goal. They have scored just 21 goals in 16 league matches - the joint second-lowest tally of any side outside of the Northern Premier League relegation zone.
Manager Mark Fell said: "Tom knows the league, knows the club and is full of confidence following a really successful season last season.
"Ultimately, Tom knows where the net is and that’s what we need. He’ll be a great addition to the dressing room and is as keen as we are to get the club right up towards the top of the division."
