Lancaster City snap up talented young midfielder
Promising midfielder Dylan Moonan has been unveiled as Lancaster City's latest summer signing.
Moonan joins the club after stints at Accrington Stanley, Stalybridge Celtic, FC United of Manchester and most recently Atherton Collieries.
The 21-year-old was a graduate of the Burnley academy before departing the Clarets to join Accrington in the summer of 2021.
Over two years in Accrington, Moonan made one appearance in the EFL Trophy before joining Stalybridge and FC United on loan.
Moonan spent last season with Atherton, scoring three times in 37 appearances as the club suffered relegation from the Northern Premier League's top division.
Nevertheless, he impressed the Dolly Blues hierarchy in their recent pre-season friendly against National League AFC Fylde and will now become a permanent member of their squad ahead of the new season.
