Kidsgrove announce exit of club captain
Kidsgrove Athletic have confirmed that captain Oliver Jepson has left the club to join Bury FC.
Jepson, 27, joined the Grove in 2017 from Alsager Town.
After departing the club for Congleton Town in 2020, the centre-back returned to the club two seasons later, going on to make 64 appearances from 2022 to 2023.
In a statement, a club spokesperson said: “Kidsgrove Athletic Football Club would like to announce the departure of our club captain Oliver Jepson as he has taken an opportunity to be part of the team at Bury Football Club.
“We would all like to wish Jeppo the best in his future at Bury & thank him for his time with us.”
