Keeper Brown joins brother at Grove
Kidsgrove Athletic have signed goalkeeper Ryan Brown, brother of forward Kieran.
Ryan has been training with the first team throughout pre-season as well as impressing in several games against the likes of Crewe Alexandra, Port Vale and Whitchurch Alport.
Manager Scott Dundas said: “He’s done well (during pre-season). He’s come here and, been here for every training session and only missing a couple of games. But he’s done well pushing Kieran Harrison all the way.
"He has got a good height on him and great physique. He’s still got a lot to learn but he is only young. However, he’s got a great strike on him and, he’s done us well during pre-season.
Ryan has joined Eccleshall on loan for the foreseeable future. He made his debut for Eccleshall against Stockport Town on Saturday and, he topped off a solid debut with a penalty save.
"We wish Ryan all the best for the forthcoming season and, hope he gains valuable game time at a good Non-League level."
