Kain Dean joins Ramsbottom United
Ramsbottom United have brought in young left-back Kain Dean ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The energetic 19-year-old defender came through the youth system at Mansfield and spent the second half of last season at Runcorn Linnets.
The club say they were keen to bolster their full-back options ahead of the Pitching In NPL West Division season and have now found their man.
Ramsbottom finished 15th last season, winning 12 of their 38 league matches in 2021/22.
On his arrival, Rams manager Lee Donafee said: “Kain has come in and shown great attitude and just the way that he applies himself in training. He is just an outstanding lad”.
Dean’s arrival is the second in less than 24 hours for the club, with goalkeeper Harry Turner also joining the club to replace Radcliffe-bound Tom Stewart.
